1. Which group would be most
suitable for our event?
We are pleased to assist you with this. Consider the mood
of the event (i.e. formal / casual), and the tastes of your
guests (most guest lists have a range of tastes, from
classical to contemporary). Budget and the size of your
event will both influence your decision.

We have demo CDs and song lists available of many of the
groups. Our clients tell us these are very helpful. Please
contact us on our 24 / 7 phone
at (416) 769-8685.
2. What is the
cost?
Cost depends on the number of musicians, upon which
particular instruments you choose, length of engagement and
location. Our clients tell us our fees are very reasonable
and competitive. Fees. (Top

3. Do you have a
minimum time for bookings?

and location. (Top

4. How will the musicians be
dressed?

formal evening wear to dressy casual, or theme wear by

5. Who chooses the
music?
Most clients give us instructions such as "mostly
classical, some upbeat contemporary" or " lots of old and
new pop music and some very well known classical ". Some
will give us guidelines by making a few special requests
from our song lists or just say "do a mix and read the
crowd".
We are very flexible, and being appropriate for your
event is of paramount importance to us. (Top

6.Our President
has a favourite piece of music. Can you play it?
Probably. We already have an extensive and varied
repertoire. But if you have a special piece which is not on
our lists, most music can be successfully arranged for these
ensembles.
Some styles of music suit some instruments better than
others, and that may affect your final choice of
instruments. We may ask that you provide a recording of your
special piece. Because of the time involved in writing some
arrangements, there may be a nominal fee for the
arrangement. (Top of

7. How do we firm up a
booking / what happens when we are ready to book?
When you are ready to confirm the booking, we will fax or
mail you a contract, to ensure all agreed upon details of
booking are clear and correct. (Top
of page)
8. How is payment made?
By cheque or (seldom) cash. We sometimes ask for a
deposit of approximately 40%, and the balance is usually due
on the day of engagement, or shortly thereafter, according
to your company's billing periods. Please let us know if
your company requires an invoice (original copy or fax).

9. When is the
appropriate time to book?
We book as far as 18-24 months ahead (..or as soon as for
tomorrow, if we are available!). Our advice is that as soon
as you are sure of what you want, you should book so you
know you have it. (Top

10. Do you
travel?
Gladly. The fee for travelling depends on the distance
and the amount of time which must be allowed to ensure
timely arrival at your venue. (Top

11. Do you play
out-of-doors? (...or Divertimento "al fresco"...)
Yes. For the musicians, there is always sunscreen and
bugspray, but because the fine professional instruments are
sensitive and valuable, they must be protected from direct
sunshine and any precipitation. Temperature and wind
direction are considerations, and relatively level ground is
preferable. (Top of
